MXP have a very significant well in NUR-1 with huge upside should it prove to be a success. As seen by similar upside potential stocks like CHAR and BOR – rumours and mis-information are rife and almost the de rigueur.
However, I was surprised to see MXP drop 20% on no news just a rumour and yet there was no RNS dispelling the mis-information. Whilst I agree with most company rules on not commenting on rumours etc – I do think the company has a duty to its shareholders to ‘react’ with calming words when 20% is wiped off the sp.
Lets face it – if they stay silent, then the corrupt traders/misinformation posters win.
